The new Broadway-bound musical Kinky Boots is kicking up its heels and gearing up for its world premiere production at Chicago’s Bank of America Theatre. The cast and creative team recently assembled for a photo shoot and invited cameras along to capture all the behind-the-scenes fun. In the clip below, the musical’s trio of stars (Stark Sands, Billy Porter and Annaleigh Ashford) join director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell, scribe Harvey Fierstein and composer/lyricist Cyndi Lauper for some fabulous photos. The Kinky Boots crew also dishes about what audiences can expect from this high-octane and glamorous musical.
